Course Description

The MSHA Annual Refresher Training is a comprehensive course designed for miners, mine operators, contractors, supervisors, and safety professionals in the mining industry, providing a condensed review of essential safety procedures, hazard recognition, emergency response protocols, and compliance with MSHA regulations. Through interactive learning methods and practical exercises, participants update their knowledge and skills, ensuring a safe work environment and compliance with annual training requirements. Upon completion, attendees receive certification documenting their compliance with MSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining safety standards in mining operations.

  1. Mandatory health and safety standards
  2. Transportation controls and communication systems
  3.  Escape and emergency evacuation plans; fire warning and firefighting
  4. Ground control; working in areas of high walls, water hazards, pits, and
  5. spoil banks; illumination and night work

  8. Prevention of accidents
