Course Description

Prepare for a career in transportation with the Hazmat Endorsement Entry-Level Driver Training Course, designed to equip aspiring drivers with essential knowledge and skills for safely handling hazardous materials (hazmat) while complying with regulations. This comprehensive program covers hazmat regulations, identification, classification, packaging, labeling, placarding, and transportation security through interactive modules and real-world scenarios. Emphasizing safety, environmental stewardship, and regulatory adherence, the course prepares individuals for the hazmat endorsement exam while instilling a deep understanding of the responsibilities associated with hazmat transportation. 

A minimum test score of 80% is required. This course is part of a three-step process to get a Hazmat Endorsement added to a CDL License:

  1. Complete the CDL Hazmat Endorsement Prep Course
  2. Complete Background Check
  3. Take Hazmat test at DDS
