Course Description

The Medic First Aid Training course equips participants with the essential knowledge and skills to respond effectively to medical emergencies and provide basic first aid care. Developed by healthcare professionals, this comprehensive program covers topics including CPR, AED use, airway management, bleeding control, wound care, and treatment for common medical emergencies. Through interactive lectures, hands-on demonstrations, and scenario-based simulations, participants learn to assess emergencies, prioritize care, and administer appropriate interventions. Upon successful completion and skills assessment, participants receive certification in basic first aid and CPR/AED, valid for two years. This training empowers individuals to become confident and competent first responders, capable of providing immediate care and potentially saving lives in various settings.

Learner Outcomes

Upon completion of the Medic First Aid Training, participants will be equipped with the essential knowledge and skills to effectively respond to medical emergencies and provide basic first aid care. They will gain proficiency in assessing emergency scenes, prioritizing care, and administering CPR and AED interventions for adults, children, and infants. Participants will also learn to manage airway obstructions, control bleeding, recognize signs of shock, and provide appropriate wound care. Additionally, they will be able to recognize and respond to common medical emergencies such as heart attacks, strokes, allergic reactions, and diabetic emergencies, as well as environmental emergencies including heat-related illnesses, cold-related injuries, and poisoning. Through practical skills practice and scenario-based simulations, participants will develop confidence in their ability to apply first aid techniques in real-life situations, ultimately becoming capable and confident first responders.
