9022 - GDOT Aggregates Examinations
Course Description

Oconee Fall Line Technical College is an authorized testing site for the Georgia Department of Transportation.
Exams required by the State of Georgia for certain Georgia Department of Transportation employees and contractors to obtain certification in the areas of Quality Control Technician (QCT), Roadway Testing Technician (RTT), Soil Testing Technician (STT), and QCT Aggregate Standard Source, and Natural Sand. All Aggregate exams require advance approval.
Examinations Offered:
- Roadway Testing Technician (RTT)
- Quality Control Technician (QCT)
- QCT (Aggregate)
- QCT (Aggregate) Natural Sand
- Soil Testing Technician (STT)
Tester will have 90 days from passing the written portion of the exam to complete the field portion of the exam. If the field portion is not completed 90 days following a passing written exam, the written exam will be void and the tester will have to retest.
Registration Process:
- Contact our office by emailing Econdev@oftc.edu or call 478-275-6592 to schedule an appointment to take the GDOT written exam.
- You must bring a valid government-issued Photo ID
- Test will be scored and results will be provided within three business days following test completion.
- The exam cost is $150.00
