9013 - ServSafe Food Protection Manager Training Certification
Course Description

ServSafe Manager Training is a food safety certification program developed and administered by the National Restaurant Association. It is designed for individuals working in the food service industry, particularly those in managerial or supervisory roles. The training covers various aspects of food safety, including foodborne illness prevention, proper food handling, sanitation practices, and regulatory compliance.
The ServSafe Manager Training program typically consists of a comprehensive course that may be offered in-person. During the course, participants learn about critical food safety principles, such as personal hygiene, cross-contamination prevention, time and temperature control, cleaning and sanitizing procedures, and food safety regulations.
At the end of the training, participants must pass a proctored exam to obtain the ServSafe Manager Certification. This certification is recognized nationally and demonstrates that individuals have the knowledge and skills necessary to ensure food safety in a commercial food service environment.
The online exam will be given at 3:00 pm. After completing the exam, the results will follow immediately.

Prerequisites
Must create an account with ServSafe prior to the training https://www.servsafe.com/
Once the enrollment and payment is complete, please come to Dubose Porter B&I Industry Services Training Building to the administration offices to pick up the ServSafe Manager Book and examination voucher.
