ACT WorkKeys - ACT WorkKeys Assessments
Course Description
The ACT WorkKeys assessments are tools used to measure and certify essential workplace skills. Here's a breakdown:
ACT WorkKeys: These are job skills assessments administered by ACT, Inc. They assess foundational skills required for success in the workplace across various industries and occupations. The assessments cover three core areas:
- Applied Mathematics: This section measures the ability to apply mathematical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to work-related problems.
- Reading for Information: It assesses the ability to comprehend and use written information found in workplace documents like memos, manuals, and procedures.
- Locating Information: This section evaluates the ability to find, understand, and apply information presented in graphs, charts, tables, and other formats commonly used in the workplace.
The scores from these assessments can help individuals, educators, and employers understand an individual's readiness for specific jobs and careers. The ACT WorkKeys assessments aim to bridge the gap between the skills individuals possess and the skills that employers require, helping individuals build successful careers and aiding employers in finding qualified candidates.
ACT WorkKeys testing is available in two different locations:
